Basic Maintenance Services
Mowing
Before each visit, turf areas are inspected and cleared of trash, leaves, limbs, and debris. Lawns are evenly mowed at the proper height based on grass type and site conditions. Areas that cannot be reached by mower are string-trimmed to match surrounding turf.
Grass clippings are not bagged. Proper mowing allows clippings to return nutrients to the soil through a process called grasscycling, which improves turf health and supports the environment.
Mowing is performed every visit.
Edging
Sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and hard edges are mechanically edged during the growing season using steel blade edgers. Established bed lines are edged to maintain clean, defined borders.
Edging is performed every visit during the growing season.
Weed Control
Shrub beds, mulch areas, rock beds, and ground cover areas are weeded during every visit. Weed control is performed using a combination of hand-pulling and selective herbicides to avoid damage to ornamental plants.
- Hand-pulling within shrub canopies and sensitive areas
- Monthly spot-spray herbicide applications
- Selective herbicides for persistent weeds
- Two annual pre-emergent applications to reduce germination
Flower Bed, Shrub & Plant Care
Pruning is an ongoing process, not a single event. Each plant has specific needs based on species, growth habits, and bloom cycles. Our
- pruning priorities include:
- Bloom production
- Structural health and growth
- Space management within the original design
Additional care includes:
- Shrub fertilization three times per year
- Dead-heading annual flowers every visit
- Monthly mulch fluffing to refresh bed appearance
Trash Removal & Final Clean-Up
All pruning debris, leaves, and organic waste are removed and properly disposed of. Lawns and bed areas are policed for trash during every visit.
All concrete surfaces, patios, driveways, decks, and parking areas are blown clean before leaving the property.
Pest & Fungus Monitoring
Fire ant mounds are treated as needed during each visit. While ants cannot be eliminated entirely, consistent treatment helps manage populations.
Our team monitors plant health and communicates any pest or disease concerns. Additional pest or fungus treatments are available as add-on services when required.
